Coach Hayes started his work with Walton Lacrosse in the 2009 season. He brings the team many years of coaching experience in other sports, including football, track and basketball. He also has experience as a Southeast Recruiting Analyst for Scout.com/Fox Sports and served in the USMC after high school.

Coach Hayes is an English teacher at Walton and has taught for over a decade. He lives in Adairsville with his wife Amy and two sons, Conner and Donovan.
